Raising Hell

There is torment and anguish
within me this I know
But I also know that
if I speak of this I will only feed it
I will make it stronger
and bigger until it becomes bigger than myself
bigger than this world
until I am blinded by this monster
which I may not have created
but I nurtured and raised
If the whole world is seduced by this demon
and give in to him,
listen to him and believe in him,
accompany him on his escapades
quenching his thirst
satisfying his hunger
then the devil will succeed
in Raising Hell*
